Why Us
Our goal with this website is to gather together in one spot, selected information and resources, that will help people understand some of the important issues relating to Environmental Preservation.
We will add additional information and features as time goes by. With some helpful insights and guidance we hope to help make it easier for others to get involved.
Experience
This site is sponsored by Green Coast Restoration as a public service to help encourage people to Preserve, Protect, and Restore our endangered Dune and Coastal Wetland Ecosystems.
Our members and associates have many years of combined experience in problem solving and creating and implementing projects of all kinds. Many have extensive backgrounds in environmental protection and restoration. They have the knowledge and abilities necessary to help make sense of sometimes complicated environmental issues.
Approach
Our group takes a comprehensive approach to Beach and Shoreline protection, preservation, and restoration. We encourage individual homeowners to get involved and to take action to preserve their own properties. We can provide pertinent information and guidance in helping property owners find the necessary solutions needed to save, enhance, and restore their properties to a natural and healthy state.
How To
With proven expertise and experience in the "How To" of Dune Restoration, we can show you how to Save and Preserve our beautiful Coastal Beaches and Shores. We seek to help others get involved, make a difference, and leave a pristine coastline for our children and grandchildren.
We encourage and support Citizen action that protects and enhances our endangered Shorelines, with an emphasis on promoting the power of individual action.
Awareness of the increasing dangers we face from coastal erosion and of the causes that contribute to the loss of our Beaches , Shorelines, Wildlife Habitats, and Property values, is a key first step to Preservation.
